How did this site come about. My Nonna passed away yrs ago taking all her magical food recipes with her. Food growing up in an Italian house is a celebration. And hers were the best. Whether it was the weekly dinner or Christmas her table was always cover in deliciousness. My daughter Grace, I think we were making her favorite chicken curry turned to me and said, "Mum, I want you to write down this and special pasta with peas so if you die I can make it". Always very direct in her approach is Miss Grace. Took a few years and bits of paper and scribble laying around and my amazing partner Terry put this together so I could share my celebration of food with all my family and friends. Reading recipes there will be names mentioned as food is attached to memories for us. Where we first had it, who taught us, who gave us the best response. Food is a memory builder to celebrate. Its something I do for those I love as my passion to give them a piece of me. Teaching my kids, especially my son Sam is a joy. The time in our kitchen is precious.
