Never Fail Rice
As a rule, add 1 cup of rice to 1 1/4 cups of stock.
- Rice - 2 cups
- Onion (medium) - 1 diced
- Garlic - 1 clove crushed
- Chicken Stock - 2 1/2 cups
- Bay Leaves (small) - 2
- Salt - To taste
- Pepper - To taste
- Fry off Onions and Garlic lightly - no colour
- Add very well ashed rice
- Add bay leaves, salt and pepper, cook for 2-3 minutes
- Add stock, cook on low (160c) in oven for 18 minutes.
- Cover pot with foil and put lid on so no steam escapes
